At the moment there are no fixes and updates planned. Sorry. I will work on the theme as soon as I have available resources.

Dennis,

Great job.

Can I replace the logo with mine - How?
Can I place an image on the header- How?

Thanks,
Reuben

Of course. You have to modify the header.php. ;)

The widget that comes with "My Page Order"

Geschrieben von Milly am 24. April 2010

Hi Dennis,

Love it!
Just one question: is there a way to include the "home" page (link) to the pages displayed in the widget?
It is not clear to all users that the blog header links back to the home page.
Thanks.

Geschrieben von Dennis Hoppe am 24. April 2010

Hey Milly, this is not a theme related question. You need a plugin which supports this feature. ;)

Geschrieben von Milly am 24. April 2010

Hi Dennis,

Not quite. Other plugin widgets have problems fitting into your theme.
It would be nice to have some more widgets that are compatible with this theme!
Now have a text widget with the home link.

Which widgets have problems with the theme? Gray and Square follows all WordPress guidelines. ^^

Hi Dennis... me again. I've been trying to figure out if there is some way I can get my categories and archives to show just the titles and maybe a few lines of each post as opposed to one page with x-number of posts on it? I've been trying to find a compatible plugin (using WP 2.9.2) that would do this but haven't had any luck yet.

Love the THEME!!! And I really appreciate your help, too, by the way :-) Blog ON!

Hi, to this question i can only say: This feature is not included in the theme at the moment. Sorry. But you can support the development of the theme with a small donation. Please think about that. ;)

I'm using your theme, but the featured posts are not working. How do I use the featured posts feature?

Geschrieben von Dennis Hoppe am 6. April 2010

Hey Terry. Go to the Admin Panel -> Appearance -> Settings and scroll down to "Featured posts". There you can set up a category which contain the features posts.

I cant go to ftp srver to change css propertys... how i can do it from wp?

Geschrieben von Dennis Hoppe am 18. März 2010

If you haven't ftp access you cannot change the css properties. Sorry. Maybe you can look for a WordPress plugin that enables you to edit any file in the theme folder.

Dennis -- thank you so much for such a great theme! I do have a couple of questions I hope you might be able to answer for me?

1. How would I modify the font size, type, etc., for the titles of the pages and posts?

2. If I want to change the hyperlink colors in the side bars, how would I do that?

Thanks again and any help you can give is greatly appreciated :-)

Geschrieben von Dennis Hoppe am 18. März 2010

You can change these thing in css/theme.ltr.css file. CSS Classes: "div.post h2", "div.page h2" (line 101-106), Link color in sidebar: add a new class "div.sidebar a" and add the color property you like. ;) Thats it.

Thanks Dennis!

Hi Dennis, I went to the file manager and changed the theme color to black. So forget my previous question. The only problem I'm having now is trying to change the font. I'd like to have the post and page titles and the body text be arial or some other easier to read font.

Where could I find the correct place to edit the font? I've tried everything I could do with the font locations in the theme.css. I must be doing something wrong.

Thanks for any help you can offer.

Brian

In the css/theme.ltr.css file you can change in line 4 the font-family property to "Arial" or something you like.

Geschrieben von Brian h. am 25. Februar 2010

Hi Dennis,

I love your theme. It looks like it automatically scales my large images down to size so they fit into the post. I love that. I was using another theme that did the same but tonight, that theme stopped working and made all the images go back to their original size.

As for my question about Gray and Square, is there a way for me to add another color such as black or gray? I looked through the theme editor and couldn't find out where the colors could be located.

Thank you so much for a great theme.

I wish I could write you something in German but I can't spell the words, all except for Wo ist ein badezimmer?

I probably even misspelled that. : )

Have a good day,
Brian H. (in Texas)

Geschrieben von Dennis Hoppe am 25. Februar 2010

Hi Brian,

you can change the background in the in the css file: css/theme.ltr.css in line 6/7. There are the background-color and background-image properties for the theme.

Best regards.
